Smartphone makers are currently working on updating their devices to the Android 12 stable edition. To test the new operating system on their devices, beta versions must be released by companies before they release final versions. Samsung has launched the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta programme for the Galaxy S21 series in India.

The Galaxy S21 series includes the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra. If you own one of these models and live in India, go to Settings, then Software Update and then Download and Install to download the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta on your device.

The same version was available previously in Korea and Germany. For Indian users, we expect the same treatment as for those from these other countries.

  • Increase the accuracy of input for Samsung Keyboard
  • You can add a microphone mode to video calls so you can choose what sounds are highlighted
  • Close a Secure Folder file that isn’t closing properly
  • Improve performance
  • Virtual RAM is now available

Backup your phone’s data before you install the latest OS. Factory reset is the only way to get back to the old OS once you have installed the latest OS.
