Amazfit is well-known for its smartwatches but it also offers a range of fitness trackers. The company is currently preparing to release the Amazfit Band 7, its next-generation fitness tracker.
In terms of design, the Amazfit Band 7 codenamed Bari bears some similarities to the Redmi Smart Band Pro. It will feature a 4.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 194×368 pixels and peak brightness of 500 Cd/m 2.
It will also include a PPG heart-rate sensor that supports 24/7 heart rate monitoring, sleep and stress monitoring, as well. It can display basic functions and notifications when paired with a smartphone.
The bracelet supports more than 100 sport modes and can be used to detect automatic workouts. It will be equipped with 8MB RAM and 128MB flash storage. The device can also be paired using Bluetooth 5.1 with smartphones running Android 5.0, iOS 10.0 or higher.
It has a declared water resistance of 5 atm, and a weight 28 grams. The 230 mAh battery can last for up to 18 days in normal use, and up to 9 days in heavy use.
It is expected that the device will launch in the second half of this year, and it could retail for around $50.
