Apple may launch a charger that can fast-charge two iPhones
Apple leads the pack when it comes to fast charging smartphones. While OnePlus and Oppo offer chargers that have 80W or more, Apple’s charging converter still only has 20W. 9to5Mac reports that Apple is working on a 35W charger. It could also be a dual Type C wall adapter that will allow users to charge two iPhones simultaneously.
According to the report, it cites a support document published by Apple. It states that this is the first time Apple has indicated that they are working on a dual-charging. Apple quickly deleted the support document, making it unclear if the charger will launch soon or when it will be released. The document did provide some details about the charger before it was deleted. It listed the features and functionality of the USB C adapter. The document also stated that you would need an Apple 35W Dual USB C Port Power Adapter as well as a USB C cable (not included). Attach a USB cable to the port on the adapter. If necessary, extend the electrical prongs and plug the adapter into the power outlet. Make sure the power outlet is accessible for disconnection. Connect the other end to your device.
The 35W dual Type C charger would be the fastest iPhone charging speed if and when it is launched. The iPhone 13 Pro Max can charge up to 27W. The charger will be fast charging iPhones. It can also charge up to two iPhones simultaneously. The support document did not mention a cable, so users will need to purchase the cable separately when the charger launches.
