Pokemon GO Best Mega Slowbro Raid Counters (September 2021)
Pokemon GO’sThe September calendar of events features exciting activities that will keep players busy throughout the month, including an enticing list of Legendary and Mega Battle Raid Opportunities. The Mega Boss is back in the early part of the month, with Mega Slowbro returning.
Mega Slowbro packs a ton of hit points, and trainers will want to team up with at least 4 other high-level friends to take down the boss while it is around. The Pokemon GO Mega Boss rotation ends Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. EST. This gives interested players plenty of time to prepare and then head out into battle.
As mentioned before, this boss packs some serious hit points, so heading into the fight with a full group of trainers is a smart idea. Mega Slowbro can be a pretty exciting boss thanks to its Water- and Psychic-type pairing, which leads to many counter opportunities. This pairing has some interesting weaknesses, including Ghost- and Dark- Grass -, Electric-, and Bug types.
The trainers will have a lot of counter options. Many players may have the best options with the right moves and high CP. Players who are not in that situation may want to consider investing some Candy, Stardust, and TMs to prepare a solid roster before heading out to Mega Slowbro Battle Raids.
Best Mega Slowbro Counters (September 2021)
- Gengar (Mega)- Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball
- Gyarados (Mega) – Bite/Crunch
- Houndoom (Mega), – Snarl/Foul play Dark
- Darkrai – Snarl/Shadow Ball
- Chandelure – Hex/Shadow Ball

Trainers need to remember that they don’t have to know all the counters to win this battle. As long as they team up with enough friends and focus on exploiting Mega Slowbro’s weaknesses, they should be able to successfully take down the boss and earn some of those valuable Mega Candies. This means they must search for the best Ghost, Dark- Grass, Electric- and Bug types to create the strongest roster possible for Mega Slowbro’s battle. Mega Slowbro’s weaknesses should be avoided. Candy, TMs, Stardust, and Candy can help you build a strong roster before you burn a Raid Pass or jump into the fray. Remember that players will not be able to capture Mega Slowbro if they complete the Mega Battle Raid. Instead, players can encounter regular Slowbro and earn Mega Candy that can then be used to gain that temporary evolution in the future.
We will learn more about the other events that will take place during the Season of Mischief in the coming weeks. Keep checking back for new updates and strategy guides on Pokemon GO. Good luck to all trainers, and until then!
